Briana Zaki

Briana was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where she attended the Theatre School Macunaima. She graduated DAMS at the Bologna University with a dissertation about the Brazilian dramaturgian Nelson Rodrigues.

She worked with the theatrical company Alcuni in Treviso and had Franco Palmieri, Lina della Rocca and Roberto Scarpa among her teachers.

She has attended various theatrical workshops such as Prima del Teatro, directed by Konrad Ziedritsch in San Miniato (Pisa) and La Danza degli Orixas directed by Augusto Omulu.

She has collaborated with Ursa Maior since 2002; she is also the founder of Tres Teatro, in which she acts, translates plays and takes care of organizational issues.
